Benefits Eligibility

Pfizer’s benefits are available to most U.S. full-time and part-time colleagues and their eligible dependents, including their spouse/domestic partner and their dependent children up to age 26. Coverage for dependent children may be extended beyond age 26 for dependent children with a disability. To continue coverage for a disabled dependent child, you will need to submit proof of eligibility. To begin this process or get more information, call Fidelity at the Pfizer Benefits Center.

Part-time Benefits Eligibility Defined

If you work at least 60% of a standard workweek, you are eligible for the same benefit plans, programs, and policies at the same contributions (as applicable) for health and insurance benefits as full-time colleagues. If you work 40% to 60% of a standard workweek, you are eligible for the same benefit plans, programs, and policies, but for health and insurance benefits you will receive 75% of the subsidy provided to full-time colleagues, which means your contributions will be greater. For more information about benefits for full-time versus part-time colleagues, refer to Pfizer’s Employee Classification Policy on Fuse. To review health and insurance contributions for part-time colleagues working 40% to 60% of a standard workweek, contact Fidelity at the Pfizer Benefits Center.

All part-time colleagues are eligible for the Pfizer Savings Plan. See Pfizer 401(k) Savings Plan information under Financial Security.

Dependent Child(ren) Defined

Your children generally include your biological and adopted children, stepchildren, and your domestic partner’s children, children placed with you for adoption or foster care, as well as other related children who live with you and primarily rely on you for support.
