Life & Family
Pfizer’s life and family benefits include resources to help make each of life’s moments a little easier. While these are just a sampling of the life & family benefits Pfizer offers, you can view all of the support available to you at mypfizerbenefits.com.

Time Off
Pfizer offers a variety of time-off programs:
- Up to 2 weeks (10 business days) of paid Caregiver Leave each year to care for a sick family member
- Up to 12 weeks of Family Medical Leave (FMLA), or FMLA-like, unpaid job protected leave to support you and your covered family members, including your spouse or domestic partner, your child(ren), or your parent when sick or injured (Note: FMLA runs concurrently with any short-term disability (STD) leave that may apply for your own illness or injury.)
- Up to 10 paid days of Bereavement Leave in the event of a loss of an immediate family member and up to five paid days for the loss of an extended family member.
- Many states, including CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, MA, NJ, NY, OR, and WA also offer state paid family and medical leave benefits. When permissible, state paid leave benefits will coordinate and run concurrently with Pfizer’s paid time off policies, as applicable.
- In addition to regular vacation, you have the ability to purchase up to 4 weeks of additional vacation through Pfizer’s Vacation Purchase Program. You can request a payout for any unused vacation purchase days during an annual payout process. You may only enroll in this program during Annual Enrollment.
Go to Fuse for more details about these and other Pfizer time-off policies, including information on how to request a leave of absence.

Flexible Work through Log in for Your Day
If you are a Flexible colleague under Pfizer's Log in for Your Day, this policy provides you the ability to work offsite 2.5 days per week. Keep in mind, while this means you are still expected to have regular child or elder care support during those days, you are able to flex how your day is spent. If you work on-site, discuss with your manager if you have the need to flex your schedule or are interested in a flexible work schedule.
